SeaWorld Orlando will commemorate Shark Appreciation Week by offering additional activities at the theme park through August 1, including educational and conservation-focused experiences.
Aquarium talks are held daily at the park’s Shark Shallows, where animal experts share facts about sharks and details about how the park cares for its animals. Sessions are scheduled through Friday at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
“Pink Fong and Baby Shark’s FIN-Tastic Adventure,” a stage show featuring Baby Shark and Pink Fong characters (and meet-and-greets), runs through September 7th. This week, visitors can also take a photo with classic walking character Sydney Shark near the Shark Encounter attraction.
The food and beverage corner sells McAttack Shark Bites, Baby Shark Cookie Dippin’ Dots, Shark Fin PB&J Sandwiches, and more. For those 21 and older, you can purchase a limited-time Shark Margarita at Sharks Underwater Grill Bar.
Annual Passholders, Fun Cardholders, Military Pass Members and more can purchase Guy Harvey Stock Cards for $5. Net proceeds support the Guy Harvey Foundation’s shark conservation and research mission.
SeaWorld also notes that this is the 10th anniversary of the opening of its shark-themed roller coaster, Mako. This thrilling coaster has been known for the last decade as Orlando’s fastest (113 mph) and tallest coaster (at a maximum height of 200 feet).

Times for these activities vary. You can check it on the SeaWorld app and website. The park also hosts talks by non-shark keepers throughout the day. The park is currently in the midst of an Electric Ocean promotion that includes the ‘Hydro Surge’ stage show, the Club Sea Glow dance party at Bayside Stadium, the ‘Sea Lions Tonight’ comedy presentation, the ‘Shams Light Up the Night’ show and the ‘Ignite’ fireworks and new drone show at the end of the night.
As always, the theme park offers Shark Encounter, a walk-through shark habitat included in regular admission, and Shark’s Underwater Grill, a full-service restaurant with views of marine life.

SeaWorld Orlando’s one-day ticket sale, which costs $59.99 to enter, ends Sunday. Purchases are date specific and must be made online.
