Sunrise, Fla. – The Florida Panthers will celebrate their 2026-27 season home opener against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday, October 10th at 6:00 PM ET at Amerant Bank Arena.
The complete regular season schedule will be announced by the NHL on Thursday at 1:00 pm ET.
The Panthers own the all-time record in home openers at 21-7-2-2, including wins in each of their last seven games.
The Panthers will face a wild and tough test as they look to extend their winning streak to eight games.
Minnesota finished third in the Central Division with a record of 46 wins, 24 losses, and 12 draws, but was eliminated in the second round of last year’s playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Panthers’ quest for a third straight Stanley Cup title was derailed by a staggering number of injuries.
Featuring familiar faces on both sides of the ice, this home opener also includes elements of the red, white and blue.
Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, leading U.S. athletes aiming for gold at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in February, will be on the ice for the Panthers, while Matt Boldy and Quinn Hughes will be on the ice for the Wild.
The home opener is also expected to be Brady’s first regular season game as a Panther at Sunrise, acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Ottawa Senators this summer.
