Brazilian soccer superstar Vinicius Jr. is currently represented in wax at the Madame Tussauds Orlando attraction on International Drive.
Vini Jr.’s figure is wearing a national team jersey ahead of his national team’s appearance at the FIFA World Cup, which begins next month in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Vini Junior plays club soccer for Real Madrid in Spain, who currently sit second in La Liga. He also played in the 2022 World Cup, when Brazil lost to Croatia in the quarterfinals.
The player’s likeness was created by artists at Tussauds, who took hundreds of precise measurements and reference photos while sitting with Vini Jr., recreating his physique, smile, tattoos and piercings.
Madame Tussauds Orlando general manager Paul Gould said in a news release: “Madame Tussauds is taking sports icons off the field and off the TV screen, creating unusual moments for fans.” “We’re excited to offer our fans a unique way to connect to this cultural moment and build even more excitement.”
