The Universal Studios Florida theme park is leaning more into the movie side this summer, introducing several movie-related activities centered around Steven Spielberg, “Jaws,” the Minion-Monster combo, and more.
This limited-time event, which will be held from May 23rd to August 10th, will feature a behind-the-scenes exhibit of Steven Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day,” scheduled for release on June 12th. The film stars Emily Blunt, Colman Domingo, Colin Firth, Wyatt Russell, and Josh O’Connor (The Crown).
At “Jaws,” the park will offer a series of photo ops, interactive experiences, specialty food, and limited-edition merchandise.
Minions & Monsters, scheduled to be released on July 1st, will feature additional photo opportunities with new characters, a special menu at the Minion Café, and limited merchandise including a shoulder-pal version of Goomi, the little green monster voiced by Trey Parker in the movie.

USF’s seasonal favorites also return to the schedule. The lagoon show CineSational: Symphonic Spectacular will resume on May 3rd, and the Universal Mega Movie Parade will take to the park’s streets starting May 23rd. The projection show “Hogwarts Always” at the castle in Islands of Adventure is scheduled to begin on May 30th.
Additionally, Universal CityWalk will host themed concerts on Saturday nights from June 20th to August 15th. The Red Coconut Club will also host Retro Nights (harkening back to the 80s and 90s) on select nights from May 8th to July 18th.
