Florida is part of 3 million illegal immigrants deported from the US

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said state and local law enforcement have rounded up about 20,000 people who were in the state illegally.

The U.S. Census Bureau has released data showing that the U.S.’s net immigration numbers, touted by the Trump administration, are now negative.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement that mass deportation efforts helped achieve the Trump administration’s stated goals.

“Due to the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, nearly 3 million illegal aliens left the United States in just one year,” the Department of Homeland Security said.

Population growth slowed significantly over the past fiscal year, increasing by 0.5%, or 1.8 million people, between July 2024 and July 2025, according to figures released by the Census Bureau.

Federalist Ben Domenech warns Republicans against distancing themselves from immigration issues. No matter how the media reports on the latest developments in Minnesota, the big question facing Republicans is how to deal with the performance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol agents, he said.

Domenech also said that if voters can come up with an answer that satisfies them, the November midterm elections could decide whether President Trump can continue his transformative policies or whether a wave of Democrats sweeps a generation of left-wing radicals into both chambers of Congress.

“Then it doesn’t matter who is the DHS secretary after November,” he said. “Whoever is in office will be subject to impeachment by the next Democratic radical.”

President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, recently said ICE, working with the FBI and the Office of Refugee Resettlement, has located more than 145,000 of the more than 300,000 illegal immigrant children brought into the United States by the Biden administration.
