Universal Orlando Resort announced that “Universal Celestial Goodnight,” a nighttime spectacle featuring fireworks and other illumination effects, will debut at Epic Universe Theme Park on July 7.
“Good Night” will be the park’s first nighttime fireworks show since it opened in May 2025.
Universal says the evening’s events will pay homage to the “inspirational characters and adventures” within Epic’s lands, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and Berk Island for How to Train Your Dragon. The show will be held at Epic’s Celestial Park, which stretches from the entrance of the Helios Grand Hotel to the foothills.
“Celestial Goodnight” will feature synchronized choreography that utilizes the park’s 600 light fixtures, 350 fountains, 7 million embedded LEDs and fireworks set to a “high-energy musical core,” Universal said.
Showtimes have not been announced, but Epic Universe’s operating hours through the end of August are listed as 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The official name of the resort has been decided as Universal United Kingdom.
Other nighttime spectacles currently running at Universal Parks include “CineSational: Symphonic Spectacular” at Universal Studios through Aug. 23 at 9 p.m., and “Hogwarts Always,” a projection show scheduled to run through June 30 at Islands of Adventure.
