The Everglades are too valuable an asset to allow to deteriorate. It’s time to look at America’s Everglades in a new light. Like the Panthers, the Devils got off to a strong start on the penalty kill. Keeping the game tied, they stopped their fifth power play early in the third period. “We were in a good position for a tied Game 3,” Rodriguez said. “We just couldn’t find the next goal. Our power play has to be a little sharper. It looked good, but I don’t think it was good enough. One goal would have made the difference.” Unfortunately, that goal was a failure for New Jersey. Beating hot-blooded goaltenders in the only way a team can, the Devils managed to…

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) – A new bill just introduced in the state Capitol would require Florida educators to take an oath to uphold the Constitution and state law before stepping into a classroom. This is similar to what lawyers, doctors, and civil servants take. Some are proud of the new bill, which promises teachers to care for and educate their students. Some find this derogatory and fear it will create an unsafe environment for Florida educators.”I think it’s common sense that teachers be elevated and treated as professionals, and that all professionals are sworn in,” said state Rep. Tom Fabricio…
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) – Florida Attorney General James Usmeyer has filed a federal lawsuit against California and Washington state, claiming the states’ “sanctuary” policies endanger other countries. The lawsuit follows the arrest of Harjinder Singh, a 28-year-old truck driver from California who authorities say killed three people after making an improper U-turn on the Florida Turnpike in St. Lucie County. President Trump moves to lower IVF costs with insurance guidance and drug agreement Singh, who is charged with three counts of vehicular homicide, entered the United States illegally in 2018 and obtained a commercial driver’s license (CDL) in California, authorities…
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The Florida House of Representatives unveiled several proposals Thursday for property tax relief. Florida House Speaker Daniel Perez said in a memo that any cuts would require voter approval during the 2026 election. “What has been lost in this debate is the fact that the ultimate decision on what to do with property taxes rests with Floridians, not elected officials,” Perez wrote in the memo. “If we believe voters will elect us, we shouldn’t be afraid to include them in the conversation about the taxes they pay.” Bojangles expands to Tampa Bay with two new stores…
