Central Florida pets have a chance to be featured on a wine label thanks to an annual contest by Pet Alliance of Orlando in partnership with Quantum Leap Winery.
“My Best Friend Wine Label Contest” is back for its 13th year, giving pet parents the chance to put their cat or dog on a bottle of wine.
Entries will be accepted until July 19th ($5 fee per entry). Voting will be accepted from July 20th through August. 2. The contest raises money for the organization by giving a $1 donation for every vote.

The dogs and cats that receive the most votes will be featured on Quantum Leap’s 2026 “My Best Friend Rescue Red Wine” wine label, along with their photo, name and short story. Last year, the winery moved from its previous location in Orlando’s Mills 50 neighborhood to a new location on Fairview Lake to focus on making wine and selling bottles online.
The grand prize winner will receive a case of wine (12 bottles) and a feature in Pet Alliance’s “Wags and Whiskers” newsletter. Prizes will also be awarded to the runner-up in each category.
Pet Alliance raised approximately $450,000 from the contest. The organization helps more than 4,000 homeless dogs and cats each year by providing shelter, veterinary care, pet food pantries, adoptions, and animal welfare education.
In March, Pet Alliance opened a new 25,000 square foot shelter on John Young Parkway. The shelter is a modern space that can accommodate 275 animals. The nonprofit organization is about $170,000 away from reaching its $15 million fundraising goal for a new shelter in Orlando and finishing its Almost Home campaign.
