Changes are coming soon to Universal CityWalk, including the removal of the Epic Universe Preview Center and replacement of dining options.
The preview center, which opened in June 2024, promoted the opening of Universal Orlando’s third theme park with merchandise, photo ops, and large models of roller coasters and other attractions enhanced with augmented reality representations of indoor activities. The actual Epic theme park debuted on May 22nd. The last day you can visit the preview center at the lower level of CityWalk is April 12th.
The Universal Legacy Store is scheduled to return to the space in late April, according to the resort. The retailer highlights a variety of classic monsters and retro merchandise related to Universal Pictures franchises such as Jaws and Back to the Future, as well as Universal Studios theme parks in Florida.
A Five Guys store will open on the upper floors of CityWalk, replacing the Burger King Whopper Bar that has been open since 2009. So the last day to carry Whopper will be April 20th. Five Guys is scheduled to open sometime this summer.
