Cheers to a glass of science at the 5th Annual Science on Tap Beer Festival on Saturday (January 24th) from 1pm to 4pm at Lock Haven Park.
The Orlando Science Center’s family-friendly fundraiser welcomes the community to enjoy an afternoon of local beers from more than 30 breweries around Central Florida. All breweries are keen to show off their beers while supporting the center’s mission to encourage learning.
Guests will sip and sample while trying out interactive demos, playing lawn games with friends, and sharing plates from area food trucks scattered throughout the event.
What is there in beer other than beer?
At Brews & Beans, guests will be able to taste like a brewer or roaster and understand how time, temperature and process create taste, aroma and intensity.

Oktober Gofestes Binary lets you create your own snack necklace with a hands-on (and delicious!) activity using binary code. Using goodies like pretzels, gummies, and other classic snacks, encode your secret word in binary, wear your creation, and perhaps eat it while enjoying the rest of the activity. Sample beer and learn how the taste changes with each sip.

Every ticket sold at Science on Tap helps fund learning experiences for children at Orlando Science Center’s various programs.
