Blue Man Group has set a debut date for its new show in Orlando. The production will open at Icon Park’s new theater on May 1, the group announced Thursday.
Tickets for the performance at the International Drive venue go on sale January 16th. Pricing has not been announced.
This live show features the famous trio, who are blue-skinned, seemingly bald and mostly silent, and will feature classic Blue Man Group routines, as well as new parts exclusive to Orlando Productions. The troupe is known for its unusual instrumentation, visual effects, and humor.

The new show, which includes the addition of a 500-seat private theater, was first announced in June 2024. A 2025 opening date was ultimately announced, but it was later postponed. The theater is under construction near the base of the Orlando Eye on the Universal Boulevard side of Icon Park.

Blue Man Group previously performed for 14 years on Universal Orlando’s prominent soundstage, accessible via Universal CityWalk. That show was canceled in 2021.
The Blue Man Group started in New York City in 1987 and has continued to show in New York City as well as Boston, Chicago, London, Berlin, and Shanghai. He is currently performing in Las Vegas and on a traveling tour.

In 2017, Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group acquired Blue Man Productions. Cirque continues to operate a show called “Drawn to Life” at Disney Springs.
