David Gammill, founder and trial lawyer for Gammill Legal Accident and Injury Lawyer, says cities with high crime rates have a negative impact on community real estate, family development, education and local government resources.
“If crime is very common in a particular city, authorities will naturally want to raise the level of law enforcement. This means that funding other aspects of the community is likely to be put on the backburner, which can have a detrimental effect on the community,” Garmill said.
