Orlando Boat Show returns to Central Florida with 600 boats

As the Orlando Boat Show once again floats in central Florida, sailors of all backgrounds and interest will gather at the Orange County Convention Center this weekend.

Experienced and future watercraft enthusiasts will be able to view a selection of 600 boats from over 80 manufacturers at the event from September 5th to 7th. While various boat and on-site seminars are dedicated to fishing, sports only captures part of the larger industry. Visitors can view a variety of crafts including bow riders, center consoles, deck boats, flat boats, pontoons, surf boats and more.

“Participation in boats is still very high. Everybody who got on the water during Covid really fell in love with being on the water and found their passion for being there.” “The boat show is a great place where people shopping for boats can see everything in one place at a time.”

Orlando’s boat show also features a trout pond for young visitors, Gatorland creatures and welcome, and a fishing seminar by Captain Jimross. Young visitors, ages 5-15, can learn from Captain Don Dingman, who appeared on the TV show “Fook the Future,” and receive free rods and reels during the final supply.

The Orlando Boat Show serves as a casual outing for the whole family to explore, but serious boat buyers can take advantage of purchasing perks at the event.

“All the dealers out there are going to advance their best feet with promotions and discounts,” Lewis said. “This particular show offers buyers the best opportunity to do business. The manufacturers also offer promotions to help dealers move inventory.”

According to the National Association of Marine Manufacturers, Florida remains a major state in America in recreational boats, with an annual economic footprint of $33.3 billion, maintaining more than 100,000 jobs. Over one million registered recreational vessels navigate the Sunshine State waterways.
