The story of Spanish artist Sergio Navarro lives in a ghost mansion with paintings, but is the basis for the haunted house at Universal Studios in Halloween Horror Night 2025.
The Labyrinth Named El Artist: Unforgettable in Spain – is the third of the 10 Hhn homes to be published and its first year featuring original content. The release came during a panel discussion at the spooky Imperial event on Friday. Also discussed – sometimes shy – is the theme of the overall event, with the use of “five nights at Freddie” and the possibility of a stage show.
In Elle Artist’s story, Navarro has a career dip, so he moves to country manners for inspiration. It is set in the 1880s.
“Unknown to him, the basis for the mansion is fested in the spirit of the artist who came before him and moved into the mansion. And there is a deeper sense of evil rooted in the deeper depths of the mansion, which exists primarily within the conservatory,” explained Shaw Director Ramon Paradore. “This evil, deep sense forces us to overtake Sergio’s mind, influence his art and portray these horrible things that come to life.”
Paradoor discussed the exterior of the house and planned special effects.
“We really wanted to run Gambit with different kinds of creatures and attackers that can be seen within the ghost story environment. You have a spectrum entity, a ghost illusion belonging to a mansion, an artist from the past,” he said. “But then, if there was a creature who owned the Portage creature, Sergio, then we wanted to use his artwork as our own ship to have a concrete body.”
Pepper’s ghost effect – a widely used fantasy technique – is used repeatedly in the home, Paradore said.
“You’re going to physically see a ghost trying to break through the painting pushing through the canvas of the painting. You might see if the ghost is walking down the wall,” he teased. “That’s just a few examples of how we actually try to push those boundaries from an effective perspective. This forgetfulness makes it feel like we’re walking with Sergio.”
Disney Date: When Boneyard gets bored when Epcot’s test track opens again
As a general inspiration for HHN this year, creators and designers have turned to the roots of the horror genre and landed on Gothic textures such as stained glass, grapes, grapes and galgoyle.
“As soon as you cross these turnstyles, you’ll clash with Gothic tones and textures,” says Lorasaurus, assistant director of entertainment creative development, showing the direction of Universal Orlando.
“You’re going to carry that theme all the way through your journey, the stages of the Music Plaza, its tone and texture, and perhaps the characters surrounding you, the scenic elements,” Saurus said. “If you choose to take it to Hollywood Boulevard, that theme is still there in a different way, but you take on the sound, texture, the environment, and the stained glass that is inside the walls of that conservatory.”
These tones repeat within the soundtrack and lighting throughout the theme park, she said.
Universal: New Las Vegas Haunts Have Van Helsing Vibe
The two previously announced homes are based on the video game and prime streaming series Fallout and Jason Universe, and center around the villain from “13th Friday.” Halloween horror night will begin on August 29th at Universal Studios.
The spooky Empire event ended with an audience-driven Q&A using panels. Questions include the possibility of a stage show and include “Five Nights for Freddie.”
“We’ve seen a lot of fun and fun,” said Mike Aiello, senior director of entertainment creative development at Universal Orlando. “We haven’t officially stated how it will become part of the event, but it is with the event.
“And what I can tell you is that it will be cool. It will be fun. … The characters look the same as how they appear in Freddie’s “Five Nights of the Movie” Blumhouse. ”
Aiero did not confirm the “nightmare fuel” show or other productions, but called the house alternative “palatal cleanser” and explained its purpose within the event.
“We want to be able to present something that allows people who don’t want to be scared all night, or who can sit and enjoy some level of sight in an event.
