Ocoee City Of Ocoee Honors collapsed at the annual anniversary ceremony. The event features retired Colonel Shay Tully Bradley as keynote speaker and a presentation in colour from the Honor Guard of the OCOEE Police. The event will be on May 22nd at 11am at N. The city of Orlando is celebrating and inviting the community to participate in a ceremony that he remembers, honoring the brave men and women of the US military at Greenwood Cemetery. The ceremony will begin on May 23rd at 6pm on 1603 Greenwood Avenue in Orlando. Details: orlando.gov

Orange County brings together the Cypress Grove Park community for an anniversary salute to honor the memories of all veterans. The ceremony features the meaning and folding of the American flag, veteran pinning, guest speakers and coloured posts. The city of Sanford will hold an anniversary celebration at Veterans Memorial Park to honor those who gave life to their country. A memorable ceremony will be held at 9am at 110 W. Clermont brings anniversary celebrations to the Clermont Highlanderville and the Pavilion Complex community. In addition to traditional memory, the Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall will be on display at the Waterfront Park from May 24th. Details: Clermontfl.gov

Woodlawn Memorial Park presents the 75th Annual Anniversary celebration with an invitation open to community members to bring together and remember those who fought for American freedom. Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will launch their “Sunset at the Zoo” event for the first time this season on May 23rd with an extra time. Mount Dora hosts the annual Corn Festival at Elizabeth Evans Park with Zelwood Sweet Corn, Contests, Food Benders and Live Music. City of Casselberry is opening the “Classic Rock and Car Show” to the public over Memorial Day weekend at Lake Concord Park. Steelin’Peaches gives the event headlines with openers Tyler Goodson and Relic. Visitors can see over 150 classic cars. The city honors those who have died in military service with a color guard display. The free event will be on Casselberry’s 95 Triplet Lake Drive from 4 to 9pm on May 25th. Details: casselberry.org
