Sunrise, Fla. — Florida Panthers Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zetto Anaum announced today that the club has agreed to sign forward Jack Devine on a three-year entry-level contract that begins in 2025-26.
“Jack is an agile skater with high-end offensive talent who has excelled throughout his college hockey career over the past four seasons at the University of Denver,” Zito said. “We are excited to see Jack join the Florida Panthers organization.”
Devine, 21, skated against the NCAA University of Denver pioneer in 44 games, earning 44 assists and 57 points (13-44-57). For the second season in a row, he was also named the Top 10 finalist of the Hobby Baker Awards and the NCHC First Team All-Star. Devine made his third appearance in the Frozen 4 in Denver, helping settlers beat the monks at Providence University and the Boston College Eagles in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
The 173-pound, 5-foot-11-pound native from Glencoe, Illinois, competed with Denver in 162 games over four seasons (2021-22 to 2024-25), producing 163 points (57-106-163). During the 2023-24 season, Devine led the team with three goals. This included a team-high nine power play goals and 56 points, ranking seventh in the nation in scoring. Scoring his 20th goal in 23 games, he became the fastest pioneer to reach the modern 20-goal threshold.
