Homeland Security Director Christa Noem paid tribute to the Uzbekistan president with illegal immigrants from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The United States has deported 131 illegal immigrants to Uzbekistan as part of the agreement between the two countries, the Ministry of Homeland Security (DHS) said on April 30.
Uzbekistan fully funded the deportation of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan people illegally in the United States.
The partnership with Uzbekistan has presented the latest agreement with foreign countries negotiated by the regime. The operation is part of a broader federal crackdown on illegal immigration under President Donald Trump.
Citing an example of the successful partnership, DHS noted that Trump persuaded Columbia to begin accepting illegal immigrants who were excluded from the United States.
The president also formulated a partnership with El Salvador, imprisoning illegal immigrants who were suspected or confirmed gang members. This is a transaction in which the United States is involved in paying the country $6 million to hold for a year in the country’s largest security prison. To date, the DHS has deported nearly 300 foreigners identified as linked to US-designated terrorist groups Tren de Aragua and MS-13 to El Salvador.
Trump has also signed a contract with Mexico to fight drug cartels, DHS said. The partnership has resulted in more than 6,000 drug traffickers being arrested.
“These are just a few successful efforts that reflect President Trump’s vision for strong diplomatic cooperation and a restored immigration system, ensuring illegal foreigners are returned to their country of origin.
Deportation is being challenged in court.
Democrats have criticized Trump’s deportation.
In one prominent case, a small number of Democrats traveled to El Salvador and called for the release of Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
DHS was a member of the MS-13 gang, claiming that Salvador citizens were illegally in the United States before their deportation. Abrego Garcia is also involved in alleged trafficking, and according to the agency, he is accused of domestic abuse.
