Kyle Clifford refused to attend his sentencing hearing on Tuesday.
Triple crossbow and knife killer Kyle Clifford was given the orders of his entire life as he described him as “a jealous man who was immersed in self-compassion who completely emptied women.”
Clifford, 26, refused to compete against the family of his victims.
At Cambridge Crown Court on Tuesday, the judge said of Clifford:
“This is not an opportunity to delay or suspend your victim’s family or friends.
“Therefore, I will quickly make clear for each of these three murders that this sentence will be one of the entire order’s life sentences.
“It means a sentence that you will never be released.”
The judge began his remarks by saying: “On July 9th last year, Kyle Clifford, you went to the house of ex-girlfriend Louise Hunt and launched a murderous attack on her and her family.
“You first killed your mother, Carol. He showed nothing but kindness, even that day, the moment before you attacked her.
“You raped and killed Louise as tender as she could by ending her relationship with you after your rog arrogance and rage proved too much for her to stand.
“Then you murdered Hannah Hunt. Hannah Hunt did nothing to harm you from saving her sister.”
Judge Benathan described the attack as “cruel and coronavirus.”
He added that Clifford wrote to his family that he was “dripping with self-compassion.”
Speaking about the victim’s impact statement by Carol Hunt’s husband, BBC racing commentator John Hunt and surviving daughter Amy Hunt, he added, “They have shown a gentle heroism that your Kyle Clifford can dream of.”
Both John and Amy Hunt provided statements on impact of the victims who were in tears in Clifford’s absence before the sentence was passed.
John Hunt told Clifford at Cambridge Crown Court, saying he could faintly hear the “scream of hell” that he said, “They’re going to spread the red carpet for you.”
Amy Hunt also oversaw her words to the murderer, telling the court that “Kyle, the Hunts are obviously human, and you’re not.”
The pair hugged their loved ones when the sentence was handed over.
The judge also said Clifford’s military service has been hardly alleviated for him or for him. “You’ve been mentioned sometimes as a former soldier.
“In many cases, it serves as a key mitigation.
“Not in your case, but you’ve never seen any active service as two years in the Army included 286 days claiming to be ill, and utilities to the Army can be collected in farewell comments from your commander, saying, “His character is completely inappropriate for military employment and there are no concerns beyond himself.” ”
Prosecutors previously said that when Louise ended the 18-month relationship, Clifford was “enthussed” and began to “carefully” plan the July 9 murder.
Clifford accesses the family’s home by deceiving Carol Hunt and stabs her to death with a “brutal knife attack.”
After killing Carol Hunt, the defendant “wait” and “wait” for an hour for Louise Hunt to enter the house, then restrained, raped and murdered her with a crossbow.
He then fatally shot Hannah Hunt after work when he returned to the quiet cul-de-dead property near Ashlyn in Bussy, Hertfordshire.
Clifford previously pleaded guilty to the murders of Louise, Carol and Hannah and was later convicted of raping Louise for “violent and sexual conduct.”
