Peppa Pig theme park gives George character a hearing aid

George, the younger brother of the Peppa Pig character, will start wearing hearing aids during his appearances at the Peppa Pig theme park in Winter Haven. This change is related to the storyline of the animated Peppa Pig series.

In the “Hearing Test” episode, Peppa’s family learns that George has moderate hearing loss in one ear and wears a hearing aid. Merlin Entertainment Group, which owns the theme park, said in-park experiences will reflect the characters’ status and strengthen the attraction’s commitment to accessibility.

Opening in 2022, Peppa Pig Theme Park is part of the Legoland Florida Resort and is aimed at the youngest visitors and their families. A new version of George will also appear at Peppa Pig Park in Grapevine, Texas, which opened last spring.

The two piglets and their family regularly participate in visitor interactions at the theme park.

More than 400 “Peppa Pig” episodes have been produced since the British series’ television debut in 2004. Episodes, which are usually about five minutes long, can be viewed on our YouTube channel. The show and characters became part of Hasbro in 2019.
