The former Canadian Olympic snowboarder wanted in the US for multiple fees due to alleged involvement in a multinational drug trafficking ring, has been added to the FBI’s list of most wanted fugitives.
Ryan James Wedding is said to lead an organized crime group that has moved large amounts of cocaine from Columbia to Mexico, California, Canada and elsewhere in the United States.
US authorities say the 43-year-old, born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, who competed in Canada at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, lives in Mexico and is considered a fugitive.
The US State Department offers a $10 million reward for information that leads to a wedding arrest or conviction.
wedding–Aliases include “Ergev” and “Public Ainna.”–He faces eight felony charges, including conspiracy to export cocaine, three counts of murder in connection with an ongoing criminal enterprise, and one attempted murder. He is one of 16 people charged with drug cycle allegations.
The charges have not been proven in court.
