Beijing said the rules will come into effect at EDT from 12:01am local time on April 10th.
China’s Treasury Ministry announced an additional 84% tariff on all goods imported from the US, which is due to come into effect Thursday.
On April 9, the Chinese Communist regime said these rules would come into effect from noon on April 10 (12:01 am EDT). The 84% tariff replaces the previously announced 34% tariff
On April 2, Trump announced a minimum 10% tariff on all trading partners, exceeding the collection of around 60 countries identified as “the worst offender” in a trade imbalance with the US, including a 34% tariff with China.
When China responded with a 34% retaliation tax on US goods, Trump imposed an extra 50% on the Chinese administration, reaching 104% total tariffs on Chinese imports, which came into effect from 12:01am on Wednesday.
