TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A new study from Wallethub shows that some of Florida cities are the most expensive for renters. This study calculated the percentage of income people spend on rent in more than 180 cities in the US. Some of the cheapest cities, like Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Cheyenne, Wyoming, spend on average about 16% of their income on rent. In more expensive cities, renters spend twice as much money as nearly 30% of their income.
