Walton County, Fla. (WMBB) — A Defuniak Springs man was arrested Sunday after being allegedly threatened his family with a machete while robbing. Deputies responded to an ongoing robbery call at Defuniak Springs, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. WCSO said that when deputies arrived, he encountered 29-year-old Logan Lavern McVay carrying a machete. They were able to secure their weapons without getting injured.
