Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) – We are only a few months away from the opening of the Universal Epic Universe. This means visitors will have access to several parks themed around Universal Studios Production.

One of these attractions is Berk Island, based on the “How to Train Your Dragon” franchise.

In a blog post Tuesday, Universal announced that the island will feature dragons flying into the sky as visitors enjoy the park.

“Look at the sight as there may be huge nightmares and Groncles rising up,” reads the post. “While we’re here, we might catch Gobber trapped while he’s working on his forging!”

Visitors can also visit Haddock Paduk with hiccups and teeth-free items. The other dragon duo are located across the park.

In total, visitors can see 30 animated dragons and static dragons. This represents 17 types of franchises.

Epic Universe will open on May 22, 2025. For more information about Berk Island, click here.
