An arrest report obtained by NBC affiliate WESH said Venegas is a Corvette passenger and a Corvette passenger handed over by lawmakers after the driver failed to halt completely at Oilwell Road.
A K9 unit was called to the scene and Venegas and the driver were asked to leave the Corvette while law enforcement was searching for the vehicle.

Deputies said they found a plastic bag lying on the passenger side floorboard. There were a few white pills inside. Officials said there were 10 mg of oxycodone tablets and five tablets containing oxycodone and acetaminophen in total.
When questioned, Venegas told the agent that the pill wasn’t him and that he didn’t know how they got there.
The lawmakers continued searching for the Corvette, stumbling across a brown handbag on the passenger side floorboard. Authorities said there was a pistol inside the bag and a clear plastic straw with a white powdery substance.
According to arrest reports, the pistol was spray painted blue and when investigators disassembled the weapon they discovered that both serial numbers were missing.
Venegas was arrested and taken to a prison centre in Naples, Wesh reported.
He and his twin brother, Alex, have gained fame as “The Island Boy” following the 2021 viral hit, “I’m A Island Boy.”
Official records show that Venegas has a history of arrests in South Florida. He was recently caught in trouble in May 2024 when he was arrested in Fort Lauderdale for reckless driving.
