Ellenton Premium Outlets could soon earn a makeover.
Gulf Coast Factory Shops Limited Partnership has filed documents with Manatee County Development Services to add two expanded accommodation hotels to the 68-acre site at 5593 Factory Shops Blvd. in Ellenton. If approved, hundreds of parking spaces will be removed from the outlet mall, records say.
Building records show that the company has requested approval of a general development plan to build a 124-room Hilton Rib Smart Studio Hotel and a 122-room Wood Spring Suites Hotel in an existing parking lot at Ellenton Premium Outlet. did.
Hilton Livesmart Studios will be heading to the parking area south of Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex, building records show, but WoodSpring Suites Hotel is just south of 29th Avenue. Scheduled for a parking lot east of the ice rink.
The planned development shows that the planned hotel can significantly reduce the number of parking spaces available at popular outlet malls in Manatee County. Currently, the shop has over 2,400 spaces, but records show that hotels will remove more than 400 available spaces.
Building records show that neither hotel is four stories tall.
