The Florida Panthers are almost back!
After charging the battery for a home stretch, the defending Stanley Cup champions will eventually return to action against Seattle Kraken at the Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday.
The Panthers, who took the ice on February 8th when they beat Ottawa Senators 5-1 on February 8th, will return from the break by sitting first in the Atlantic division with a 34-20-3 record.
He was heated towards the break and it was 8-3-0 in the final 11 games.
“I think we felt good about our game,” Tkachuk said of the team’s play entering a break. “Even in a game we’ve never won, we felt good about it last month.”
Many players were able to rest, but Tkachuk and the other seven continued.
The NHL’s most players were sent to four countries’ showdowns, and the Panthers were well represented in their latest tournament, closing out Thursday in Boston.
After a week of incredible action, only three Panthers are left.
As the US and Canada are planning a major rematch in the championship game, either Tkachuk (USA) or Sam Reinhart (Canada) and Sam Bennett (Canada) will be on top.
The Championship Game will air in the US on ESPN and ESPN+ at 8pm.
“I think we’ll see two really equally matched teams going to that,” Canada coach John Cooper said. “I think Boston will be treated like something special on Thursday.”

Cat and Kuraken
The Panthers will close the book on Saturday with a two-game season series with Kraken.
At their last meeting, Sam Reinhardt scored a decision goal in a shootout, bringing a 2-1 victory at Kraken on December 10th at Climate Pledge Arena.
Of course, the game is also special for the two former Panthers.
Currently skating with Kraken, defensive man Brandon Montor and two members of last year’s championship team, Josh Mafra, will be iced at the Amerant Bank Arena for the first time since the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup. Take it.

Tkachuk Heating
Even before the four-country showdown, Matthew Tokachuk was on another level.
The superstar fell to the scoresheet in seven of his eight games that earned 16 points (8 goals, eight assists) on that stretch.
In that sizzling span, he also scored four games with three points.
“He’s a driver,” teammate Sam Reinhardt said of Tkachuk. “When he’s going that way, he’s a heartbeat. When the moment grows, he seems to stand up at the opportunity.”
