WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) – A man was taken into custody Tuesday after an eight-hour crime, and deputies said he stole the store and stabbed someone to set the house on fire.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said an aggravated attack was reported at a mobile home park south of 64th Avenue when the crime began around 7:03pm on Monday, Feb. 17.

A woman was shot while driving on an I-4 in Polk County, and lawmakers are investigating

About 20 minutes later, the suspect, identified as Nelson Navarete Alencibia, went to Walgreens on Forest Hill Boulevard and reported that he had committed an armed robbery.

Authorities said a stab wound was reported at a Quickstop gas station down the street from the pharmacy around 7:50pm. The sheriff’s office said detectives later found evidence suggesting alencialism to the crime.

Investigators finally found Alencibia after returning to the Mobile Home Park around 2:55am on February 18th and setting fire to the area’s residence, authorities said.

Deputies said that when Alencibia was sent to the area, she was still close to the fire.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with deadly weapons, firearm robbery and first-degree arson.
