TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Florida gas prices have fallen to the lowest average daily price since December, the AAA said.

On Sunday, the state average was $3.03 per gallon, down 14 cents last week, according to the AAA.

“Oil prices have been trading at the bottom of the range they’ve been doing over the past few months,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for the AAA-Auto Club Group. “This allowed gas prices to slip into the bottom edge of the range that has been priced recently. However, Florida gas prices are volatile and it’s not surprising to see this week’s increase.”

The average daily price in Florida Monday is $3.02, the AAA said.

Sebring was on the most expensive list with a gas price of $3.11, while Panama City was the cheapest with a gas price of $2.87.

According to the AAA, the gas price in Florida was $3.32 a year ago.

AAA has many ways to save gas, and AAA has a combination of errands and paying in cash, and removing excess weight is a way for the community to save money.
