WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Donald Trump took part in the Daytona 500 on Sunday, calling it the opening event for the NASCAR series, a unified event with the spirit of “fueling the golden age of America” I called it. He said it would happen under his leadership.
In a presidential message released when he flew to Daytona Beach, Florida, Trump said he brought people from all walks of life by “sharing the passion for speed, adrenaline and racing thrills.” He said he was there.
“From the engine roaring on the truck to the echo of “The Star Spangled Banner” that soars through the stands, the Daytona 500 is a timeless tribute to the speed, strength and fortitude that makes America great.” Trump said. “That spirit is fueling America’s golden age, and if we take advantage of it, the future is truly ours.”
In his first speech on January 20th, Trump said, “America’s golden age begins now.”
The Air Force rioted the Daytona International Speedway before landing. Trump traveled from West Palm Beach, Florida from the airport. Several guests went to the White House, including son Eric, wife and grandson Luke, Transport Secretary Sean Duffy, Interior Secretary Doug Burgham and wife Katherine. Several members of Congress are traveling with Trump.
His convoy arrived at the speedway by driving part of the truck. Trump’s limousine later led the driver to two ritual raps, and he went to the radio to encourage him to have fun and be safe.
“This is your favorite president. I’m a big fan. I’m a really big fan of your people. I don’t know how you do this, but I don’t want you to be safe. I’m here,” Trump said. Have a good day, have lots of fun and meet up later. ”
Trump took part in the race in 2020 while running in the second term. He was given the honor of being the NASCAR’s biggest and most honorable event general and delivered orders for the driver to start the engine. The Air Force performed overpasses and his limousine was driven at speedways at the time.

Sunday’s race started in front of a sold-out crowd, but stopped about an hour after eight laps as heavy rain was expected to cause long delays. Sports fans are considered to be a lot of the many stands in the Sunday stands. He wore a red hat that said “Maga” in Trump’s “Make America Great” slogan.
Sports fan Trump left the race during the rain delay, but went a little ahead when he was due to leave. He is an avid golfer and has participated in college football games and UFC games.
Last weekend, Republicans made history as the first president to attend the Super Bowl.
