Daytona Beach, Fla. (AP) – Captain America is landing at the Great American Race.
Actor Anthony Mackey is expected to provide the driver with commands to start the engine on the Daytona 500 on Sunday. Mackie will play Captain America in Marvel Studios’ new film, Captain America: Brave New World, which will open Friday.
Mackie has appeared in previous Marvel Studios films including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Captain America: The Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. It has appeared.
He also appeared in the Marvel TV series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where he officially filmed the Mantle of Captain America.
