Banks, libraries and post offices are closed, and schools are not currently under meeting on February 17, 2025. President’s Day is always held on the third Monday of February. If you expect grocery stores to run on President’s Day, you are lucky. All publicx locations are open. The Lakeland-based grocery store chain employs more than 255,000 people with 1,400 stores in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. As of February 2025, Florida has over 870 stores.
