30 % of US states have annual rehabilitation costs that exceed the income of veterans. Recent reports have shown that a veteran living in Florida needs to spend 89.7 % of his salary to 89.7 % of his salary to cover the cost of drug rehabilitation.

ZINNIA HEALTH, which operates drugs and alcohol rehabilitation centers in South Florida, has collected data from organizations such as the National Drug Dusic Statistics Center (NCDAS). Their survey results show several financial issues faced by veterans when trying to provide drug rehabilitation services throughout Florida and the United States.

This study analyzes the average annual income of veterans and compares them with the average cost of housing drug rehabilitation services in each state. The results show that in 15 states, the annual rehabilitation costs exceed the average income of veterans and many people cannot achieve recovery.

Although the cost of veterans in Florida is high, the worst of affordable prices is Wyoming, and veterans spend 133.8 % of their income for annual drug rehabilitation costs.

Dr. Christine Curtis, a national director of Zinnia Health veteran programming, commented: Mental health is an important part of the overall health for veterans facing a special issue related to services. Organizations like Zinnia Health emphasize the need for high -quality behavioral medical care for military service members and their families. “

This study emphasizes urgent need for affordable drug rehabilitation services for veterans. In a state where treatment costs exceed the average veteran income, there is a great gap in the support system that must be dealt with. The report emphasized that “serious financial barriers have prevented the help of the US veterans from gaining the help of the necessary poisoning.”
