The most dangerous state for drivers who run the most dangerous state red lights in Top 10, Florida

The new statistics by the National Highway Traffic Saffety Administration (NHTSA) indicate which state has the worst driver executing the red signal.

Research by injured lawyer Buddy Scott has confirmed the highest ratio of drivers involved in the fatal crash that executed the red light between 2018 and 2022, using NHTSA data.

Nevada was found to be the most dangerous US State to execute the red light. The second one in the list is Colorado. The third place in the list is in New York, and Arizona ranks fourth in the list. Uta ranked fifth, Maryland was sixth, and Florida was seventh.

Some argue that if Florida is in the top 10, more red light cameras are needed. The debate is that if more cameras appeared on the scene in 2010, the quotes of transportation will decrease. However, the number of accidents increased.

Florida still has the laws of red light cameras, but the number of red light cameras in the state has decreased in recent years.

In 2010, Florida passed a law that allowed a red light camera. In 2018, the Supreme Court, Florida, ruled in Florida that a red light camera was legal.

The number of jurisdictions using a red light camera fell from 67 in 2016 to 42 in 2023 due to public protests.

In 2024, a new law was enforced, and the city demanded that the city would create an annual report on the red light camera program. The law also requires local governments to acquire traffic data to support the decision to set up a red light camera.

The 2022 survey revealed that traffic accidents would increase at intersections with the red light camera.

What happens if you execute a red light in Florida? The registered owner of the vehicle receives the ticket.

Tickets can affect driving records, which can lead to an increase in insurance fees or stop the license.
