TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida has been ranked as the best state to retire in 2025, according to a new study by WalletHub.

According to WalletHub, despite the high cost of living compared to other states, Florida ranks as the best state for retirees due to its low taxes on retirees, including no inheritance, inheritance, or income taxes. There is.

“Retirement is supposed to be relaxing, but given that people typically live on a fixed income, it can also be very stressful and comfortable,” WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo said in a statement. “The best states for retirees are those with low taxes.”

According to WalletHub, Minnesota is the second best state to retire due to access to health care, nursing homes, and health benefits. The state also ranks highly in protections against elder abuse.

According to the study, Colorado ranked third because the state has no inheritance or inheritance tax. Poverty and isolation rates among the elderly are also low.
