A new joint venture between Uber rideshare and Delta Air Lines will benefit travelers in the Sunshine State. Users will now be able to link their Uber and SkyMiles accounts to take advantage of these benefits, with the aim of making airport travel simpler and more efficient.
Liberty Partners said the deal with Uber and Delta Air Lines is a multi-year partnership that will provide special benefits to mutual customers. Other customer benefits include Delta SkyMiles membership that lets you earn miles on Uber rides and Uber Eats orders, and gives Uber users benefits like improved airport transportation at Delta hubs .
The partnership was announced by Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi at the Consumer Electronics Show with the aim of increasing convenience for travelers.


Through this collaboration, customers will be able to link their SkyMiles and Uber accounts to earn rewards. Uber users will earn 1 SkyMile for every dollar they spend on UberX rides to the airport, as well as increased benefits on premium services like Uber Comfort and Uber Black. Plus, earn 1 mile per dollar spent on Uber Eats orders of $40 or more, and redeem SkyMiles for Delta flights, hotel reservations, and more.
Khosrowshahi highlighted the partnership and said the goal is to make traveling through the airport easier and more efficient. He expressed excitement about shaping the future of travel through this partnership, which positions Uber as Delta’s exclusive rideshare and delivery partner.
