BUNNELL, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida woman who was pulled over for speeding admitted to having a bag of marijuana in her body, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
At 1:30 a.m. Monday, a deputy spotted a vehicle traveling 130 mph in a 60 mph zone on SR-11. The vehicle had been flagged because the owner had a suspended license and a history of fleeing from law enforcement.

The deputy issued a stop stick and stopped the vehicle, and the driver pulled over to the side of the highway. Troopers from the Basnell Police Department and Florida Highway Patrol arrived to conduct a traffic stop.
The driver, 34-year-old Dariel Thomas of Palm Coast, was driving the car of her husband, who has a suspended license and is a fugitive.
Upon approaching her, authorities detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
A female deputy searched Thomas and found a hard object in his genital area. Initially she claimed she didn’t have anything, but after learning she could be charged with bringing contraband into prison, she later revealed she had a bag of marijuana hidden inside her. admitted that.
Investigators arrested Thomas on charges of tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana. She was taken to a local jail and later released on $3,000 bail.
