Dahler: Midway through the season, what stands out most about this team and locker room?

Boqvist: I feel like everyone gets along very well, including the trainers, players, and management, and everyone wants to do their best. It was so much fun to be a part of it.

Dahler: This team has a lot of nicknames. Do you have a favorite nickname?

Boqvist: A Bo and J Bo. I like those two.

Dahler: How have you adapted to life in Florida, and what impresses you most about living in South Florida?

Boqvist: Everything feels very modest. Everyone here loves it. If you think about things like the weather, you can see why. It was a lot of fun.

Dahler: Did anything turn out differently than you expected?

BOQVIST: I thought there would be less traffic (lol). It’s not strange, but I thought it would be less.

Dahler: What do you like to do outside of hockey?

Boqvist: I have two dogs at home. I play with my fiance, my brother, and my friends. I started playing golf and watching sports a few years ago.

Dahler: What is your favorite Swedish dish?

Boqvist: That’s a good question. Of course you want to eat meatballs, right? So I think so.

Dahler: If you weren’t playing hockey, what job would you like to do?

Boqvist: I’m a painter with my father.

Dahler: Do you have a favorite or dream vacation?

Boqvist: My favorite so far has been the Maldives, those places were amazing.

Darla: What is your favorite genre of music?

BOQVIST: I grew up listening to a lot of house and EDM. It might look like Afro House now.

Dahler: If you were to create your own festival, what would it be and who would headline it?

Boqvist: It’ll probably be house, and the headliners will be Swedish House Mafia.

Dahler: Is there a story behind why you wore number 70?

Boqvist: In Sweden there were nine. An older player came to the team and scored 9 points, so I scored 90 points. I scored 90 points in Jersey, but then (Tomas) Tatar came. There weren’t many to choose from, so my mom and I actually picked 70.
