Fun Spot will close its Atlanta store, the company announced Thursday. The last day of operation will be August 2nd.

Fun Spot near International Drive in Kissimmee and Orlando, known for its go-karts and thrill rides, will remain open.

“This was a very difficult decision,” John Earley Jr., CEO of Orlando-based Fun Spot America, said in a news release.

“Our Atlanta team has been deeply committed to serving our guests and creating a place for families to enjoy together, and we are deeply grateful for their dedication and the support we have received from the Fayetteville community,” he said.

The Georgia attraction, located in Fayetteville, about 40 miles south of Atlanta, was formerly known as Fun Junction USA until it was taken over by Fun Spot in 2017. The most notable addition since then has been Ally Force One, a roller coaster opened in 2023 by the Rocky Mountain Construction Project. The coaster’s price was set at $13 million at the time the ride was announced.

Season passes and gift cards are valid until the last day at the Atlanta park and will continue to be available at Fun Spot’s Orlando and Kissimmee locations.
