Father’s Day is on Sunday and is a day to celebrate fathers, grandfathers, and paternal figures of all kinds.

Central Florida offers a variety of ways to celebrate the special men in your life, from free admission to attractions to “Dad Game” contests.

Here are some ideas for enjoying Father’s Day in the Orlando area.

Central Florida Zoo: Dads and Grandpas get free admission on Sunday. Free admission always requires paid admission. Transactions are valid at the gate only. More information: centralfloridazoo.org

Orange County Regional History Center: On Father’s Day, dads, grandfathers and caretakers can get in for free if accompanied by a loved one of any age. The center will be open June 21 from noon to 5 p.m. at 65 E. Central Blvd. In Orlando. More information: thehistorycenter.org

Lew Gardens: Celebrate Father’s Day with free admission for dads. Pack a picnic and enjoy a relaxing day in the gardens June 21 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1920 N. Forest Ave. in Orlando. More information: leugardens.org

Freestyle Motocross Block Party: Hosted by Walter’s Tavern and The Great Southern Box Co., the inaugural event will feature freestyle motocross stunts, BMX contests, live entertainment, food, drinks and family-friendly activities. The Packing District Free Block Party will be held from noon to 10 p.m. and will feature live DJs and music, an outdoor bar, local vendors, fair-style food and drinks, and a kids zone. Father’s Day Adventure Race: This four-hour event in Little Big Econ State Forest invites dads and participants of all ages to join an adventure that includes trekking, biking, paddling, and navigation. Dave & Busters: Join us for our annual “Dad Game” contest starting at 11 a.m. Sunday. Dads and their families can face off in arcade action and family challenges.
