Orlando always hosts a ball every June, when LGBTQ+ pride takes center stage, and often menus, at the city’s more colorful restaurants and bars.
Undoubtedly, Disney Springs is home to many such establishments, and this year three establishments – The Edison, Enzo’s Hideaway, and Maria & Enzo’s – are teaming up to offer three equally powerful beverages to support this cause.
In partnership with Dos Hombres Tequila, bartenders will create stylish, colorful drinks and, throughout June, donate a portion of their proceeds to The Trevor Project (thetrevorproject.org), a national lifeline supporting at-risk LGBTQ+ youth.
First up is the Cranstonian ($16), pink and proudly spicy. Dos Hombres A bold flavor featuring mezcal, cranberry juice, fresh lime, and Aperol, finished with a rim of chili salt.
Sweet and sour fans will love the golden passionfruit margarita ($20), made with Tinola passionfruit liqueur and fresh lime juice, served with tagine-infused ice.
And the gorgeous Green Honeydew Smash ($19) features a jewel-toned Midori melon liqueur made with both Dos Hombres tequila and mezcal and finished with fruity melon chunks.
More active drinkers may want to “strike out” for Pride and bowl a few games at Kings, a late-night venue that offers bowling, billiards, two bars, and food. “The Love Wins Lavender Lemonade” ($15) features Tito’s handcrafted vodka, lavender simple syrup, and lemonade. Limited-time cocktails deliver a bright summer vibe while giving back to the local community.
For every cocktail sold, Kings will donate $2 to The Trevor Project. Every sip turns into a donation that helps nonprofits build a safer, more supportive future for the people they serve.
