Walt Disney World has released images of the scooter animatronic ahead of the Muppet-style reopening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The figure will be seen in the refurbished rows of screamers that will open to the public on May 26th.

Disney says this is the first animatronic scooter in history. Imagineers used Scooter Puppet’s motion capture technology to build a figure that moves as a scooter should.

Guests will be able to see Scooter's first-ever animatronic figure alongside a group of Penguin audio engineers in Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, which opens on May 26th. In the new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster storyline, Scooter’s uncle is the owner of G-Force Records, which has Electric Mayhem as one of its acts. Scooter must convince the group to stop performing and meet their fans across town. According to Disney, they will create it using a “Longy Immediate Motion Object” developed by Muppet Labs.

The company also posted photos of the attraction’s star turn cameos, including Orlando’s Wayne Brady (with Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog), Neil Patrick Harris (with Gonzo) and Darren Criss (with Rowlf), posing with the Muppets. Other celebrities announced to be included in the attraction include Awkwafina, Travis Barker, Yvette Nicole Brown, John Stamos, Danny Trejo, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.

The indoor coaster’s exterior has also been tweaked, including a funky repaint of the giant guitar at the front of the attraction.

Disney previously announced a five-song playlist for the ride, including “Born to Be Wild” and “Love Rollercoaster.”

The coaster has been closed since early March, and the Aerosmith elements that have been part of the ride since it opened in 1999 have been removed. A planned “Monsters, Inc.” hanging coaster is under construction elsewhere at Hollywood Studios. land. recent disney Reopened the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
