SUNRISE, Fla. – After tonight’s live draft lottery, the Florida Panthers will have the No. 9 overall pick in the upcoming 2026 Upper Deck NHL Draft.
The Panthers have previously acquired forward Petr Taticek from the OHL with the No. 9 overall pick in 2002.
The complete draft position for the 2026 NHL Draft will be announced after the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Panthers currently have seven picks in the draft, three of which will be in the first two rounds.
The 2026 NHL Draft will be held at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York starting Friday, June 26 (Round 1: 7 p.m. ET, ESPN, ESPN+, Sportsnet, TVA Sports) and Saturday, June 27 (Rounds 2-7: 10 a.m. ET, NHL Network, ESPN+, Sportsnet).
