With Americans showing a lot of interest in national parks this year, vacation rental group HomeToGo released its 2026 National Parks Report, ranking the top locations among the 51 national parks in the continental United States.
The study evaluated multiple categories to determine the rankings, including affordability, crowding, and convenient access.
Three Florida parks made the list.
#4 – Everglades National Park
#28 – Biscayne National Park

#51 – Dry Tortugas National Park
Homes To Go’s research looked at why families visit these parks.

40% of American travelers planning to explore national parks in 2026 say that both cost and crowding levels are important priorities, making parks perfect for budget-friendly, nature-filled, and crowd-free experiences.
According to HomesToGo’s research, the top three most visited national parks were:
1. Death Valley National Park, California: Set in eastern California
2. Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona:
3. Shenandoah National Park, Virginia:
“While we’ve seen strong interest in exploring the great outdoors this year overall, Gen Z and Millennial travelers are especially excited about the outdoors, with 43% and 50% of travelers in these age groups looking forward to an adventure through America’s national parks, respectively,” said Eleanor Moody of HomeToGo.
