The conservative group Florida Family Voices (FFV) has had some early success in this year’s legislative session.
FFV issued a press release regarding several ongoing topics in Tallahassee
Church could soon be protected to recruit armed security volunteers
The legislation, advanced this week, gives churches and religious organizations greater flexibility to provide volunteer security services and affirms both religious freedom and the responsibility to protect believers.
A growing threat.

Faith-Based Domestic Violence Reform Program
This protects the ability of faith-based counselors to participate in the Batters intervention program without compromising their beliefs. FTV says the bill is an important step toward preventing discrimination against faith-based providers.
Freedom of Religion in Public Schools
FTV says the provision is one step closer to becoming part of the state constitution.
The bill would constitutionally advance religious freedom in public schools and, if approved by the Legislature, would go to voters later this year and enshrine religious freedom and expression protections in public schools into the Florida Constitution.
pro-life victory
The group claims that recent victories for the pro-life movement include a bill that the Florida House of Representatives passed unanimously creating civil liability for unborn children.
FTV said the measure recognizes the dignity of unborn children and provides an avenue for accountability when wrongful acts occur. We hope this bill passes the state senate.
Over the years, FTV has racked up victories for conservatives.
Among them is the man who led the passage of Florida’s pre-abortion parental consent bill.
FFV played a pivotal role in promoting pro-family legislation such as Parental Rights in Education and the Heartbeat Protection Act. The organization, which gained national attention, hosted a leadership summit to protect children from transgender ideology, a forum to help parents respond to critical race theory, and a rally in support of medical freedom.
They also helped pass laws guaranteeing parental rights, school choice, and medical conscience protections.
