TAMPA, Fla. – Today, March of Dimes partnered with Aetna Better Health of Florida to host a special neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) care kit distribution event. The event was held at HCA Brandon in commemoration of World Prematurity Day.
The NICU distribution kit provided basic care supplies, emotional support resources, and educational materials to families currently pursuing the NICU. This initiative reflects March of Dimes’ commitment to giving every baby the best start possible and ensuring that no parent feels alone during life’s most vulnerable moments.
“We are extremely grateful to partner with Aetna Better Health of Florida to provide parents with the resources they need during an incredibly busy and scary time,” March of Dimes said. “These kits won’t take all the stress out of the hospital-to-home transition, but they will provide items that will make it a little bit easier. Together, we hope to provide families with practical items and resources to help them during this difficult time in their child’s life.”
