“We all celebrate together,” Marchand said. “It’s so incredible to be part of a group that enjoys each other as much as we do and is as close-knit as we are. It makes these moments even more special.”
Hoping to carry some of the magic of Thursday night into the Battle of Florida, the Panthers will host the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday at 5pm ET.

Tarasov gets his first win as a Panther
A long-awaited first victory.
Daniil Tarasov made 37 saves, including 10 dangerous stops, helping lead the Panthers to victory against the Capitals.
“He scored a ton of pucks last night. He really feels like he’s the driver in that game, which is very important,” head coach Paul Maurice said. “We’re not giving the poor guy a chance. We just weren’t scoring in front of him. He was really good last night and he’s enjoying it.”
Tarasov, who has a .902 save percentage and a 2.60 goals against average this season, has held opponents to three or fewer goals in all five games he has started.
With over 30 saves, you can celebrate wins on and off the ice.
When redeemed using the Chick-fil-A app, fans will receive a free 8-count nugget entree at select Chick-fil-A locations in South Florida after the Panthers make at least 30 saves at home.
Reinhardt heats up
Unavoidable.
Sam Reinhart has been scoring at will these days, scoring eight goals in his last nine games.
In Thursday’s win over the Capitals, the two-way scoring forward honked his horn twice at Logan Thompson, one of the league’s best goaltenders this year, at Amerant Bank Arena.
Prior to Thursday’s game, Thompson entered the game with a 1.56 goals-against average and .935 save percentage.
“It’s always difficult to play,” Reinhardt said after the win. “In a game like this where both teams are checking very well, the simpler you can play, the better.”
