
PORT STREET LUCIE, Fla. (WFLA) – A teenage girl was arrested last week after she was caught on camera hitting the hood of a police cruiser with a shovel, police video shows.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department said they were dispatched to Bartel Avenue on Nov. 3 after receiving a report of a disturbance inside a residence.
Police said when they pulled up to the scene, they saw a 15-year-old girl standing in the middle of the road holding a shovel.

According to police, the boy approached the police car and began banging on the hood.
The girl was taken into custody after officers say she caused more than $1,200 in damage to the hood of the police car.
She was charged with a felony count of criminal mischief.
“Anyone, regardless of age, who intentionally causes damage to people or property in the city will be arrested,” police posted on Facebook.
