Pasha Davis, 34, remained in the Broward County Jail Wednesday after being charged with child neglect.

Davis is the mother of Gabriel Terrelong, who is the subject of a statewide missing child alert issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Monday.
The 10-year-old girl was last seen with her mother at Walmart in June and was not reported missing until Davis was arrested on shoplifting charges last month. The girl’s father, who lives in central Florida, reported her missing on October 29, WTVJ reported.

Davis’ attorney did not say where the child was when he appeared in Broward County Court on Wednesday, but said Davis was not guilty of child neglect. Her bond was set at $100,000.
In an interview with WTVJ, Gabriel Terrelong’s aunt told the outlet that Davis suffers from mental illness and has struggled with homelessness.
Anyone who sees the girl is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or your local law enforcement agency.
