Universal Studios in Florida has updated its Wicked: The Experience attraction to include costumes from the upcoming film Wicked: For Good.
The exhibit, located near the theme park’s entrance, opened a year ago to coincide with the release of the original film “Wicked,” which grossed more than $750 million at the worldwide box office. Both 2024 and 2025 films will star Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, and Bowen Yang. They were directed by Jon Chu.
Fiyero’s wedding suit, Madame Morrible’s costume and a wizard’s ensemble are newly on display in what Universal Orlando calls “The Overlay.” Also updated is a photo op with Elphaba and Glinda in their gowns, located on the side of the yellow brick road for visitors to stand on. (Don’t worry, the popular broom photo spot remains.) The elaborate video setup includes a clip from “For Good,” which opens in theaters Nov. 21.

Some of the previous items have been rearranged and most of them are listed in small print as “Original Costume Replicas”. They are still interesting to watch. (Note Glinda’s “popular” pink peignoir and teddy bear, but they all seem to be sewing challenges.)
The exterior of the building features fresh, giant graphics while maintaining the pink and green theme.

The contents are a mix of museum pieces and collectibles, including the new Spirit jersey that has become an internet sensation. Other eye-catching items include a Lego set that forms Glinda and Elphaba’s bookends, Glinda’s training wand, and an assortment of pressed coins.

“Wicked: The Experience” is also a place for interaction with the main witches, but the schedule of appearances has not been announced.
Want more immersion? “Evil”-themed snacks are now available at a nearby independent eatery known as Emerald City Eats. The menu includes Emerald City Focaccia, All Road to Oz Flatbread, and adult beverages like Popular Potion (pink, with rose vodka) and Enchanting Elixir (green, with tequila). Around the corner from Schwab’s Pharmacy is the Yellow Brick Road Shake and the Wizard Elixir Shake (featuring mint chocolate chip ice cream).
